2025-2026 Safe and Inclusive School Plan
Our school is committed to providing all students with a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment free from bullying and harassment that promotes respect, acceptance, and empathy.
Staff, students, parents and caregivers, and community partners will work together as a team to help make our school safe and welcoming for everyone.
The Safe and Inclusive School Plan highlights some of the key actions that our school community will put in place as part of our bullying prevention and intervention efforts.
Key Priorities and Goals
This year we are focusing on building stronger connections amongst staff, students and the community.
We are doing this because students have indicated that feeling more connected at school with their peers and teachers is important to their overall success and well-being.
Key Actions or Strategies
- Revisit the Essential Conditions frequently and throughout the school year, focusing on relationship building between students, teachers and each other.
- Providing learning opportunities for students, families and staff to grow in the areas of empathy, tolerance and understanding.
- Incorporating well-being and mental health check-ins, activities and initiatives throughout the year.
Community and Home Connections
- Frequent and meaningful collaboration with School Council to build strong connections between home and school
- Facilitate school events and gatherings to foster relationships with families and the community
